How do we get started?
Ditas Wines was born out of a deep love for wine, terroir and, above all, the stories behind every glass. We are more than just a wine tourism agency; we are an invitation to discover wine as a living experience, an art form and a bridge that connects people.
With over 15 years’ experience leading the development of four renowned vineyards in the Casablanca Valley, Dita has dedicated her career to understanding the world of wine from the inside. Throughout that time, she realised something fundamental: regardless of each visitor’s level of knowledge – from first-time visitors to the most experienced – they all shared the same desire. They were looking to immerse themselves in the world of wine and everything associated with it: the food and wine pairings, the scenery, the history of each vineyard and, above all, connecting with like-minded people in a welcoming atmosphere with excellent service.
It was then that he realised that people no longer just wanted a traditional wine tasting; they were looking for experiences that would thrill themthat would make them feel as though they had discovered a little piece of heaven on earth.
Inspiration: A Journey to the Heart of Wine
The pivotal moment that gave rise to Ditas Wines took place during a tour of the vineyards in the Colchagua Valley. On that trip, Dita had an experience that left a deep impression on her: she discovered that behind every glass there is not just a drink, but a family history,a tradition and a shared passion.. She realised how wine tourism could turn a simple visit into an unforgettable experience.
That was when the question that changed everything came up: Why not share this magic with more people?
That is how this dream began, with the firm intention of introducing travellers to the soul of Chilean wine in a way authentic, down-to-earth and emotional. We want to reveal the soul of each vineyard, going beyond the conventional wine tasting. That is why every tour we design is a vibrant experience that includes walks through the vineyards, conversations with the winegrowers, carefully crafted food and wine pairings, and moments of togetherness that celebrate friendship, the local area and local identity.
